About Me!

Hi! My name is Big Al! After spending too much of my life doomscrolling, I decided to switch things up. The interent, along with AI, started to feel more and more evil. My attention span was that of a goldfishs. So, I got rid of my smartphone. I got some old gaming systems and then learned how to mod them. (Oh, my dear 3DS will always be famous to me.) I switched from music streaming platforms to CDs, Vinyls, and iPods. (I don't even have a GPS in my car, I just roam around until I find where I am going.)

This is what led me here! I get to be expressive and creative while sharing my interest. (And I get to expand my brain while doing so.. this shit is hard.) That being said... this website is CLEARLY a work in progress.

Interests!

I am a big fan of film. My goal for 2026 is to watch 365 movies! My favorite genre is horror, but call me out for a bucket of popcorn and I am coming soon to a theater near you. Some of my favorite movies include Killer Klown's from Outerspace (obviously); Little Shop of Horrors; Across the Spiderverse; and Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. I love a wacky, vibrant, good time... and if there is any element of body horror, count me in. Stay Tuned! I am currently working on updating my media log! (It is a lot of work, I watch a lot of movies.)

Some random facts about me: I am a nursing student. I have three cats and a dog, there is a link to pet my cat, Gamora, in the navigation box! I have an amazing partner that I spend every day adoring, (they are my muse for the WIP game "Where's Juno?") We watch a lot of movies and play a lot of wacky games together. I have them to thank for my enjoyment of Nubby's Number Factory and The Binding of Isaac.

There are a lot of videogames dear to me. I will always be a fan of the Nintendo DS, Kirby is my dude. I love exploring weird little indie games. I have been a Sims fans for years (but we do not support the EA sale here... they were already evil enough). And of course you can never mention videogames without mentioning Minecraft. (My media log will also include videogames soon!) Some other interests of mine include crafty and artsy activities, cooking, listening to music/concert going (again.. to be included in my media log), traveling, building my collection of tattoos, collecting ceramic clown dolls, a few other various activities, and now learning about coding!
